Cast your mind back to 2013. Picture me, hunched over my dining table, clutching a slip of paper with 'Bitstamp' emblazoned across it. My passport peeked out from the side, a beacon of identity in the unfolding story. Nestled in the backdrop, a newspaper broadcasted the day's date. A simple tableau, but one that marked my maiden voyage into the pulsating cosmos of Bitcoin and escrow. Oh, how the constellations of the crypto universe have transformed since that fateful day!

Throughout this thrilling expedition, I've surfed the exhilarating highs and weathered the gut-wrenching lows. Spectacular windfalls and crushing losses have written their chapters in my journey. The day Luna faded into oblivion was particularly brutal – a seismic shockwave that sent my finances spiraling into a black hole.

Yet, amidst the stormy backdrop of a global pandemic, cryptocurrency emerged as a lifeboat. When clients dwindled and the financial horizon seemed bleak, it was crypto that allowed me to sail on. It was the lifeline that ensured my staff stayed afloat, their wages secure in a time of global upheaval.

Reflecting on this rollercoaster ride, I can't help but feel a sense of optimism. We're pioneers in a still nascent landscape, tiptoeing around the precipice of a vast, uncharted expanse. The rollercoaster may jerk us around, yet the potential and promise it holds is exhilarating. The crypto universe is still just dawning, and I believe, it's set to radiate a brilliant, dazzling light into the future.

Stepping into the CoinGeek Conference in Hong Kong as the new Marketing Director, I found myself faced with an exhilarating challenge. With the event fast approaching, there were still 400 delegate seats to fill, with each ticket priced at $2000 and payable only in BCH. The energy was high, the stakes even higher. But with a deep breath and a steely determination, I plunged into the task.

My toolkit was filled with a blend of performance advertising strategies – Banner Ads, PPC, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn in mail, and YouTube. I seized every opportunity to get the word out, championing our event at every gathering, every platform.

True, 2018 was a year of uncertainties for cryptocurrency advertising, with social media platforms flip-flopping on their policies. One day, we would be riding the high waves of advertising, and the next, we'd find ourselves grappling with blanket bans across all cryptocurrencies. But in these trials, I found a resolve that was unshaken and a resilience that was undeterred.

Beyond marketing the event, I also played a key role in material creation. From scripting video intros to orchestrating the first Citizen Investment Plan to be sold using BCH, each endeavour was a testament to the limitless potential of the crypto realm.

Looking back, the journey was every bit as thrilling as the destination. The challenges were steep, but they served only to amplify the sweetness of the success that awaited us. As I navigated through the exhilarating ride of that CoinGeek Conference, I learned, I adapted, and above all, I grew.

Venturing Into The Uncharted - The First Crypto-Bought Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP)

Stepping into the unknown, I embarked on an enthralling journey into the world of Citizenship by Investment Programs. This path challenged me to master a new domain and architect an engaging campaign that would propel it into the limelight.

Tasked with not just understanding the intricacies of CIP but translating them into an engaging leaflet, I found myself navigating a fascinating intersection of content creation and design. However, the journey didn't end there. We amplified our reach, disseminating our leaflets at the conference, while simultaneously launching an intensive email campaign, targeted at high-net-worth individuals.

Investment Success

Our efforts bore fruit in an exciting, tangible way. From the pool of 54 prospects we had generated, we successfully facilitated the sale of one CIP at £134k within just a week of launching the offer. This pioneering transaction marked a significant milestone - the first Citizenship by Investment Program bought with cryptocurrency.

NAVIGATING THE CRYPTO WATERS & FOSTERING EDUCATION

Working within the crypto market is akin to being a guide in a rapidly evolving landscape. It's about not only mastering the terrain but also empowering others with this knowledge. This recognition motivated me to expand beyond speaking at events and dive into creating instructional videos. Each project was a dynamic journey, starting with conceptualisation, moving into scriptwriting and storyboarding, and culminating in a professionally crafted video. The resultant pieces were highly engaging explainer videos that tackled complex topics such as Oblivious Transfers, Atomic Swaps Motion, and Bitcoin Trust Network. They were well received, helping many to grasp the subtleties of these concepts, and further affirming my commitment to fostering education within the crypto sphere.

One fine day, the universe decided to shake up my routine and handed me a mission: to orchestrate a party for Bitcoin. Now, you might be thinking of a casual get-together or a friendly gathering, but oh, no! The closest thing I had ever organised before was my kids' birthday bashes. But here I was, tasked with conjuring up a blowout of epic proportions, and with a jaw-dropping deadline of just two weeks!

From securing nimble dwarfs clad in Ninja outfits, mesmerising stilt dancers, intriguing naked sushi girls, to designing a zen chill-out room, I left no stone unturned in creating a party that would become the stuff of legends.

The result? An electrifying spectacle that garnered comparisons to the infamous parties of the Wolf of Wall Street, but with a distinctive crypto flavour. Not merely a local gathering, it turned into a global extravaganza, drawing enthusiasts from every corner of the world.
